Ernesto J. Poza (BS Yale University; MBA, Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is an internationally recognized speaker and consultant to family-controlled and family-owned businesses. He is professor emeritus of global entrepreneurship and family enterprise at Thunderbird’s School of Global Management.
His work has been featured on CNN, NBC, and NPR, as well as in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week, El País, Excelsior, Expansión, and El Nuevo Día. Ernesto J. Poza is a founding member of the Family Firm Institute in 1986, a not-for-profit organization that is generally recognized as the premier body for advising and research in the family business and family wealth fields. In 1996, he earned the institute’s prestigious Richard Beckhard Practice Award, presented in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of family business practice.
